Thanks Mary Ann. We don't have to look too much in the center .... |

Thanks Bob for your relevant comment. I cut the circle and It is better not.
It is why such group of discussion is interesting. |

Thanks Paul for your suggestion. I also like it very much, as your not only change d the crop, the process is also different (more soft and sharper). |

The blossoms are indeed very blossoms.
As you didn't intent to have any green left, it explains a little the picture.
Why not to crop the upper blossom to better focused ont the center which is very sharped. Nice background. |

Indeed very nice opportunity for photographers, and very nice from the owners. Such picture (subject) call the B&W and the conversion is well done. The advice of Bob about the contrast is pertinent.
I like the composition (truck between 2 yucca's?) and the angle of view (from the back). The truck can go through the orchard. Nice texture of the grass. |

Nice movement of the car, amplified with the rain (movement of water) in the back.
Nice composition with the spectators looking at the car. Their position gives good balance at the picture.
Well done in B&W, as the colors of the umbrella's and cars were too present. |

No cropping: well done.
Indeed the scale of the ice is huge. One of the difficulties of such picture is the white of the ice. The right composition is also another one, but you did it.
I like your choice and "justification" of the use of cameras. |

Your courage and perseverance (3 times at sunrise) have paid off. Beautiful inn colors. Wonderful in B&W.
Our (my) eyes go everywhere in this picture to see the light and shadow on the difference mounds. Nice texture on the ground. |

Great image David, and great conversion in B&W. It works very well.
I agree with both comments. Use of foreground and background. The place os the bak is good for me. Lower as you answered is not only a problem of negative space, but you should have cut the snow and it is better not to do.
The bank makes the image, no bank, no image. Just great.
It is the place of quiet and peace. |

Thanks Murphy.
I forgot to mention the tech data. Aperture was et f/4,5, which is low. I see it on the petals.
Ok for the green in the back. |

The stories of your pictures are always pleasure to read.
We can only appreciate the original work (composition and light), which requires a lot of creativity.
We also spend some time to read and to understand the picture. |

Original composition to lead the eyes. We take time to see and "read" the picture. Well done.
I like the colors of the tulips, and the green of the stems which divides the picture in 2 zones.
A petal sharper will have given another picture, but it is your choice. Thanks again for the originality. |

Good idea to try something new (water drops on the flower).
The use of tripod helps a lot. Why not use a wider DoF (as you were on tripod, there is no problem for the speed) to better see the drops. |

Nice picture and composition Murphy.
I like the flowers and the lines with the leaves on the blurred background. Nice colors.
Good idea of the boarder. |
