Thanks Bob for your comment.
The discussion about the distortion is endless. Usually I only correct a little because it is art of the image, and certainly without loosing interesting part of the picture. In this cas I stopped at the limit of the arch, maybe too much. |

Your were both right, the photograph to suggest to do it and you to have done it. I really like the angle of view.
The 2 dark inclined flowers are a good point of view and point of interest. There are part of the composition.
The shadow in the petals are great. |

An image that creates discussion is a good image. This is the case with all this analysis and suggestions.
Very soft and relaxing image. There are different zones, but all are part of the image, I wouldn't change anything.
Just a minor remark/question: in the lower left corner, there is a different shade of grey under the left rock, what is it? It catches my eyes. |

Also a really good conversion in B&W. The color version has not been processed I suppose, so difficult to analyse it (it is by the way not the objective of this group...)
Well cropped, the sky was not interesting. The attitude (bond) between the 2 horses is just great.
We have a lot of details, eyes, the manes, the head (not in the color version as mentioned above).
The beauty of Nature and animals... |

Great and excellent conversion in B&W. No more comparaison between the 2 versions.
One of the main point in this kind of picture is the "symmetry", and you really succeed to have it.
More detail and texture in the B&W version. Good job. |

Interesting travel image indeed, travel for us, daily live, of an other life, for them... we don't have the same definition I think...
The B&W version works very well. We see the density of the scene. All the birds make a kind of vignetting around the people in the center. I like it.
We see the different clothes of these people, not the same protection as we have. Why a backpack to be there?
It is a travel image with a lot of information about out they have to work... An interesting lesson.

Must be a pleasant day David to take all these pictures and pleasant hours to select them...
Beautiful composition, and a background well out of focus.
We usually see these pictures in color, and I like the color version.
However the B&W conversion is well done, wide gray gradient, and soft image. We are less "disturbed by the color" as Elliot Erwitt said. |

At first look, I am attract by the light in the picture. I think some part are blown out, but I like it. There is an intensity, and I find it original. This parts attract more than the subject... It is an original choice. |

Very soft image. I agree with Murphy about the sharpness of the yellow part. It is not easy... A solution, that I have never done, is maybe the focus stacking?
The different corners can be disturbing. A crop of the image could be a solution if you like that... |

A very beautiful park with a lot of photographic opportunities. This a lovely flower. Maybe if you darken the background that would highlight the flower. A suggestion is also to crop the flower. There are different possibilities, as I think the work is not finished. |

This is a good example of the treatment of the background. Usually we would like to have it black, but as already read in the group, to keep a structure in the background is more natural. I agree with this, and specially with this picture.
I like the colors, the square format, the water drops, and the background. The petals are sharped, not else to add, except: well done. |

Good choice of the panoramic format and the composition (tulips instead of sky). In addition, the subject is tulips.
With all the people at different distances (plans) we better imagine the quantity od flowers. The different colors of them bring a lot (different planes) at the picture. |
