This picture has and revealed a his(story). The monochrome is a good mean to reinforce that. You had all the elements for a good monochrome (lines, sky and clouds, old buildings, ... and your vision). |

Really good pose in this picture. Perfect crop.
I prefer much better the B&W version than the color one. Good job to reveal all this details. |

Nice scene. I like it, but in color...
It looks like to be a painting. Personally, I think when a picture looks like to be painting, it is often a great picture. I am not a specialist of him, but there is a little of Claud Monet (French painter), in the scene and the colors.
Maybe a little too much space in the bottom. |

At the right place at the good time (with some time to wait...). A club member did such images. I really like that. There is always something that makes the picture, without it, there is no picture.
Here it is the eyes (and the look) from the funicular.
Even if both versions are beautiful, in this case, I prefer the color version, it improves the animation and the dynamic of the picture.
Your second picture (original 2) is also very interesting, 2 funicular, 2 eyes and 2 people. |

Both versions are nice. I like the (warm) color of the color version. However, I find the B&W stronger thanks to the high contrast.
Original framing due the lens (40 mm). I like it as it is unusual. |

Thanks Adrian.
There are different possibilities for this picture.
I agree the contrast has to be stronger. |

Thanks Paul. I agree with you for the contrast. I tried but didn't succeed. I will try again. |

I like the composition with the main flower (and the spider) and the 3 out of focus ones.
The DoF is maybe (too) small, but it is your choice.
Very nice colors. |

I like the format and the colors, and of course the subject. I like the small bug on the petals.
I think the background processing can be improved (less noise and more homogeneous).
ISO 1600 is not a problem for Nikon 700 and the tool to remove the noise. |

Very original picture.
A way to combine the beauty of photography and painting...
She had indeed the appropriate beret...

Thanks Murphy. A try of improvement is not always a success. The contrast is indeed stronger in the original. |

I like everything in your picture: light, composition, sharpness, colors and good choice of the squarre format. The background is present, just enough.
There are no noise, even with ISO 1250, which is not much for the Nikon Z6II.
Just a comment about that: with the ISO, you had a "speed" of 1/4000, which is not necessary I suppose (no wind). Maybe forgotten a former preset (what I also do...). |
