Great shot. I like the composition (postion of the arms, the body and the direction of the look). The "crop" of the head works well.
We still can see the eyes (they are not in the shadow). I think it important that her left eye was not in the shadow.
In the bottom right corner there is some disturbing white. A detail in this beautiful picture. |

Great moment and great shot with a story. Well done.
The conversion in B&W works well for the reason mentioned by Kathryn and because it strengthens the bond between the 2 "old" friends.
The bottom right corner is a little disturbing for me: We don't see the left arm. Is it a chair with a coat? |

Everything is already written. I also like the composition (diagonal), the sharpness and the tones.
You have done what you wished and liked so my personal opinion about the frame thickness is not important... |

It is a style. One like it or not. It gives the impression of an old picture we find back in our attic.
I really like his attitude (look, month, ...) and the square format. I prefer the vintage sepia (format and background) to the B&W, but it could be interesting to have the original one. |

Good idea and work to have converted the image in B&W.
Not always easy to find directly the right angle. It was worth taking 25 pictures. Very soft image with contrast. |

Every month you come with new idea, new test, and it is always a pleasure to discover it.
I like the lines and the colors.
The suggestion of Murphy is indeed interesting (the flower on the right to be guided by the lines). |

Thanks Ray for this interesting information about this flower, and for the picture of course.
A question please: is the DoF of a cell phone much bigger than with a camera? You were at f/1.8 and had much DoF?
Indeed less background would help to better see the flower.

Thanks Murphy for the precision, and sorry for the fault "yes iso eyes", but I think you understood what I meant. |

I like the composition in "T".
Indeed, as already mentioned, if you wish "to finish" the picture, that are some work (background and the right border). |

I really like the position and the angle of the three flowers. |

Interesting picture that leads to different comments.
My personal opinion. The light it great and I like the composition (position of the flowers).
What can lead to debate: black background or not; and the number of flowers (odd or even)? It is your choice.
My opinion: with this light on the flowers I would have chosen a black background. The even number, I like it. |

A like the composition and the colors. The flowers seem to be in different stage of life.
Did you take the picture looking down? It could be interesting to have the flowers at yes level, what do you think?
What are the dots in the leaves? |

Thanks Dan. A focus stack could have helped. I should try it once... In this case, I don't know if it is possible with the wind. |

Thanks Ray.
For the verticality of the stem don't you think the flower would have been too inclined? |
