Thanks Ken. I went there twice and I have never thought to take the picture of the machine without the tower. I thought the tower gives information (coal industry) about the place. However on the photographic point you are right, the machine alone can be considered. |

Thanks Kathryn for your analysis and suggestion.
You are (unfortunately for my picture) right with the grass. |

Sorry Fran.
I meant I see less the texture of the different elements. |

The beauty of simplicity. Nice composition.
The conversion in B&W works well. Maybe a little more of white/light, just a suggestion.
I like it. |

Very interesting attitude, a little bent over himself. This is reinforced with his tail and his left leg, and also with the format of the picture (4/3?).
I like the light and the dof on his face.
He is thinking and not disturbed by your presence. |

Street photography, often picture of life.
Good tones. Two people together, but are completely different, as the colors of theirs clothes, their ability with technology, ability to walk, with and without beard, concentrated and looking away, with and without cap.
Great street picture. |

I like the different parts of the well composed image. Even if the light and the house are the subject, the structure and the texture of the stones are really interesting and are part of the image.
Maybe a process of Denoise and Sharpen. This is your choice. |

The landscape is just great. There are 3 "planes", namely the foreground with the trees, the center with the hill and the background, with the (beautiful) cloudy sky.
I prefer the color version. For the B&W I have the impression the conversion in B&W has flattened the picture, especially in some part of the trees and the bottom of the hill. This is less visible in the color version.
Once again a really great landscape. |

I like the composition and the tones. Well done. The light on the mill is great.
It is certainly a nice place to walk and to take pictures...
No porblem with the upper right corner, but some concerns with the electric wires. |

Thanks Fran for the interesting suggestion of removing the tree in the far right. Well seen. |

Always something new for me (us).
The background is important in this kind of image, it is part of it. With a circle-shape subject I like a square format. But is this case with the structure and texture of the ice, I agree with your choice of format.
It takes some times to understand the picture what is interesting. |

I really like the composition with the angle of view. Very sharp image and well highlighted.
I fully agree with the 2 previous comments, and I understand your answer... |

I really like the idea. Well thought and well done.
Even it the copy is more sharper (only one image), the originality is interesting. I also agree with the sharpness of the small ones (I would have preferred sharper). What do you thing with a more uniform background to better highlight the subject? |

I like the position of the flower in the frame. But indeed, the DoF is maybe too small.
About the background, I initially thought to darken is in black, but the suggestion of Murphy (darker green) is better.
Is it possible to choose the settings with an iPhone? |

I an attracted by the beautiful flower and its DoF. It immediately catches the eyes. It is between two others flowers (out of focus in the background) and I found it well done (we better see the subject).
Very nice colors. |

Thanks Ray. I forgot yo mention the ISO value. It was ISO 200. The hight speed was due to the day light and to try to darken the background. |
