39 Jan 24 Reply A portfolio about this subject could be an interesting and original one.... Jan 11th
39 Jan 24 Reply Thanks for your explication Kathryn.
If you do something, that has to be soft.

39 Jan 24 Reply I learn something about the yellow converted in B&B.
Thanks for the the tip.

39 Jan 24 Reply Thanks Fran for your suggestion and work. It is indeed better. I should try it.
I was at 12 mm (FF) against the wall. I couldn't have all the door, except to work in portrait.

39 Jan 24 Comment A picture with a story and even with an history.
The window doesn't seem natural, but it is, as the light is coming from there. I like the triangle with the 3 elements (window, stove and host).
Good idea to have added the light rays. There are not too present, but bring some dynamics.

39 Jan 24 Comment Good creativity. Well done to reinforce the possibility of "dreaming".
There are some minor (really minor) disturbing elements on the left, maybe due to the dubbel pictures.
There is a kind of movement of the hand, which gives some dynamic at the picture. Was she speaking (alone or with somebody), dreaming, ...?

39 Jan 24 Comment Good idea (even necessary) to always go out with the camera. I don't do it, and I regret it sometimes...
There are some people and everybody seems to be alone. Great street photography.
Natural posture. Taken at the right moment (before noticing the camera).
Good conversion in B&W.

39 Jan 24 Comment Could be the eye of an elephant...
We can have our own interpretation of the subject, almost an abstract picture.
The snow is like small flowers.
Really an original picture.

39 Jan 24 Comment The power of Nature...
The difficulty in these pictures is not to burn the white. Really well done in this picture.
Good choice of the format to guide the eyes.

39 Jan 24 Comment Image that meant aventure, space, nature, ... a place that we wish to go and visit.
Color version is nice and maybe more "classic", however the mono version is stronger on the photographic point of view.
There is some "halo" around the peaks.

75 Jan 24 Comment We see the necessary work to realize that picture.
The composition is "refined" (positive). The bottom left corner is maybe a little empty.

75 Jan 24 Reply I agree with Murphy analysis and border, and I can understand you are not a border guy... You are the maker. Jan 15th
75 Jan 24 Comment We are in the Art world with this image...
Original, sharp, composition, light, background, ... everything is perfect.
A gold medal at a contest...

75 Jan 24 Comment Good composition, but the lighting was difficult to handle. Decrease the intensity (power) of the flash could have improved the general lightening. Just a suggestion as I unfortunately don't master the flash...
Even at f/22 the DoF is too short.

75 Jan 24 Comment After having read the comment, it is easier to understand the composition...
I am (a little) disturbed by the 2 kind (white and machine) of background. Would only the machine have been better?
I like the idea of the dried Rose. Nice job.

75 Jan 24 Reply Congratulations to Ray to have understood it. I can imagine you are happy of that ... Jan 15th
75 Jan 24 Comment A compelling image that requires time to analyze and understand. This is the aim on an image.
As already written, maybe a little more contrast to have the eyes attracted to the petals.
Original work.
Jan 15th
75 Jan 24 Comment Indeed a great composition, from the petals to the buds... Maybe a little more place (leaves in the bottom), maybe...
Very sharp and I like the colors...
Background really not disturbing ...( :-) ), and the border finish the picture. Really a good job.

75 Jan 24 Reply Thanks Ray. Indeed you are right. It helps to receive comments. Jan 15th
75 Jan 24 Reply Thanks Murphy for your pertinent analysis. Jan 15th
