Different questions often raise in street photography. It creates a possible debat.
In this case, why not the lady 6 ft later? It would have been a completely different image.
With this image, I take the time to try to understand why does the maker take the image at this point (time)?
The crop is really well done, and the square format is adapted, with the place of the lady. Job Well Done (JWD).

Indeed a nice experience. Be the first in the queue is not easy and require patience.
I also like both versions, but the B&W better show the puffin.
The DoF isolates the bird from the foreground.
What about the empty space in the left?
I like the attitude of the puffin. |

With the number of comments, we can already say this is an interesting picture, specially if we compare it with the original.
The way you have cropped it is your choice. Personally for such image, I like more panoramic format, but I agree with your opinion.
At fist sight I said it would be interesting to have a living presence, until I see the birds. This bird is part of the image.
The atmosphere of the B&W is much better, it is most restful, calm. Good choice. |

Good light on this picture. Both version are indeed nice.
I agree with Kathryn, the background is too much present and I like her proposition.
I like the composition (alignement) of the biggest (highest) one and the smallest one.
Certainly a good place to be to take beautiful pictures. |

Original and well done.
I like the different lights (colors) of the leaves.
As it is quite circle, why not try a square format, even if i like as it is.
The "hole" in the bottom has its place in the picture. |

Difficult to add something new.
I agree with Dan to clone the horizontal line, and with Murphy to add a thin border (I often received this remark in the group B&W... so I pay now attention to that).
Good composition & orientation of the picture. |

I really appreciate this kind of "soft" image.
I like the composition, 3 flowers which fill the frame.
There is some work to do that, but it is worth doing it. |

We are entering a new world: sharpness of all the drops and the treatment of 266 images.
Just impressive and job well done.
Is it possible to have only petals and drops? It would be another image. |

Nice pictures of flowers and Nature.
I like the impression of space. The different flowers and the 2 main colors give structure at the picture.
The flowers in the center foreground is like a bouquet to enter the image.
The shrub on the left gives a third dimension. Even if it is not he subject a little bit more present could have been interesting.

Thanks Marge to have taken some times for your suggestion, that I appreciate. It is another picture. However, as also mentioned in your and other comments, I have to crop a little on the left. |
