Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
39 Oct 22 Comment I was attracted by the sign (indication 3), but I like it , as it is part of a triangle, but after reflexion and having seen the proposition of Kathryn, I prefer the new version (without any "disturbing" element).
The sharpness of the highest bird is just great (eye and wings).
Suggestion: to try to have more contrast on the shadow of this bird.

39 Oct 22 Comment There is a fourth vote for the color version, as the different colors of the nature are the subject of the image.
However, the B&W, as already mentioned, gives the impression of infrared. That means they are 2 completely different images and the aim can be different.

39 Oct 22 Comment I fully agree with the comment of David, so difficult to add something. I like the light of the ground.
However, I have a suggestion, no more to improve the image as it is too late and she is nice, but for the next time: to have the full legs. Just a personal suggestion.

Thanks for the information. To answer your question: it is a personal choice. Everybody can do what she/he prefers.

39 Oct 22 Comment The great images who are different. Even difficult to choose. As this is a B&W group...
It gives me the impression of broken ice on the ground. "Effect of speed on the water" as mentioned Paul. Impressive and well done.
I like the structure of the rocks. Less the one of the leafs on the left side. Not easy to have them very sharped. Low speed to take the picture. They have maybe moved.

39 Oct 22 Comment Good composition with the different planes (water, fog, mountains, sky). I like it.
The structure of the sky call the B&W, and the light in the sky is perfect.
It is better without the spot on the left.
The bird in the center is really welcome.
Personally, I miss the structure of the mountains. I don't know why it is "so flat". If anybody has an explication, it will be welcome.

39 Oct 22 Comment A nice picture in difficult circumstances.
The trees can be seen as a symbol of live or souvenirs. Looking at them makes you think of someone...
The composition of the tree is well done (triangle).
LR allows good opportunities of treatment and you used them perfectly. I like the preset 24 in SEP. It improves the structures of the different elements.

75 Oct 22 Comment Nice capture. Well done. I like the position of the petals, like an open mouth.
The gradient of light in the image (flower and background) bring a dynamic (direction) for the eyes.
With a "circle" subject, I think a square format is often interesting, but this is a personnel choice...

75 Oct 22 Comment The contrast of colors allow the 2 versions, but good idea to convert is in B&W.
As mentioned by Murphy, it is like a tapestry and it "calls out", it is subject to interpretation. Everyone can imagine what he/she wishes.

75 Oct 22 Comment I like the composition. Not easy for the sharpness of all the image.
A kind of Fibonacci spiral ? Not the name of the flower, but the "equation" of the veins of the leaf...
There are some highlight spots who are disturbing in some cases (bottom left corner) and necessary on the other parts.

75 Oct 22 Comment Very soft colors, I really like it. I don't know the name... We can learn in this group.
As suggested by Dan, I also prefer the non cropped version.
Sharped center with a blurred background with soft colors as the flowers. Better than a black one, at my opinion.

75 Oct 22 Reply I prefer this version. Oct 13th
75 Oct 22 Comment Another "strange and beautiful" flower.
Famous (difficult) work to do, but you have succeeded.
I like the 2 red petals and the composition.
I find the right part of the image quite empty (unbalanced).

75 Oct 22 Comment Very strange, but beautiful, colored flowers.
I suppose you took the picture regarding down. An alternative could have been to be lower to see the flowers at (almost) the eyes level, event if ti will be another picture.
Good idea the frame in pixels.

75 Oct 22 Comment Thanks to all for the relevant comments.
As all of you have a common opinion, I think I will "adapt" the pictures.
