39 Sep 21 Comment Clouds in a sky usually give a nice image. The rule is respected in this case.
The structure of them also bring a lot.
For the image balance, I partially agree with Paul. the square format is beautiful, but I don't think this is necessary. Indeed, the density of the clouds (above right) gives a well balanced image.

It needs (for me) some time to completely understand the picture.

This must be great to see all these old machines working. I agree with Jerry for the foreground and background, well distinguishable from each other.
However I think the clothes of the 2 man (driver and behind him) are a little to dark. It is quite difficult to distinguish the structure of their clothes.
The driver looks to be proud of him machine and the man behind is happy to be there. You caught the good expression.		 Sep 24th
39 Sep 21 Comment The images of Jerry and Paul are two completely different images. Which one to "choose"? That is the choice of the maker.
I also like the composition of the proposed image. This is a kind of "minimalism" with a negative space.

The most important is that you tried something new and liked to do it. This is the best way to learn.
At first sight I also thought at the use of a brush tool... That's meant I "missed" your picture as you realized something (a picture) that I can't understand how you did it. This is a good point for you as you are able to create new approach.
I prefer the B&W. I would have tried to up right the house, event if it is not the main subject.
