I was in my kitchen to comment this picture and I had quite difficult to understand the comments and to appreciate the picture. I said there is a problem, there is certainly too much light. I moved to another room with less light and your image is just great. I agree with the comments.
I like the tones and the composition ("lines" from the upper left).
The time of exposure adequate, we can see it on the water and waves, without being a very long time exposure.
Image well equilibrated. |

Great composition. Some elements were present to have this composition, namely the S curve of the ice, the geometry of the mountains, the clouds, ... and you choose the good place. You begin from the upper corner with a mountain.
I particularly like the structure on the ice, it gives the impression of stairs.
Good idea the white frame around the picture to isolate it on the screen and to avoid a friendly remark from David (...). I have had some and he was always right. |

It is already a pleasure to read the story of the work done to realize this picture. Impressive. Even if you write it is fast and easy ...
The stones and the trees are well sharp.
I prefer the structure of the water at the right part of the image. I have the impression it has more structure and sharp.
The sky with the beautiful clouds are also nice, except the left part of the clouds (less structure). |

Very beautiful image Arfan. Indeed the photographer makes the image, event if the dunes and the lines are very beautiful.
The "best" image with a person is when he/she doesn't know we take a picture.

You were quite close to the feeder to have this picture at 150 mm. I like the composition. However you missed the right paw. Is it for this reason you cropped the bottom of the image?
The image is taken at the right moment. Job well done.
I agree with the comments of the colleagues about the sharpness of the eye. Some say to take this picture with "have to" to make the AF in advance on the right place, to use the manual AF, and to wait... Either a tripod and a remote control.... No easy to realize.
