39 Jan 21 Comment Hi Larry, maybe I saw you in 2019. I was also there at that period (see Round April 2020).
Your image is powerful. The dimension of the geyser is given by the 2 men on the ground. That's great. The man on the right can be cropped as he is not in the flow, just a suggestion.
Really good composition.
There are some stains (due the water...) in the part of the sky (without clouds).

39 Jan 21 Comment The "Z" form with the stems lead the eyes. This is a good composition.
The texture of the leaf (ferns) and the multiple shades of greys make this image very interesting.
I have the impression the highlight part of the image is more highlighted is the B&W version than in the color one. May be a little too much for me...

39 Jan 21 Comment Good job Paul without your tripod.
The alter is almost a frame in a frame, and with the 3 windows, I really like it.
For the emotion, I have the same idea as David, the angle makes the emotion. There is no place for a person in this frame, at my opinion.

39 Jan 21 Reply Hi Paul,
Some information.

This is a Begian death-melodic metal band named Tardigrad.
You can check their stuff here https://www.reverbnation.com/tardigrad

If there are good, i let you decide....

39 Jan 21 Comment I prefer the color version for the different tones. It looks like a paint.
The flare immediately draws the attention and i like that, but i personally think it is not natural. Il is a little too much. I would also cropped a little, but only on the top. At my opinion the suggestion of Paul is "too" panoramic.
There is a "stain" on the left side, between the bridge and its shadow. More visible on the color version.

39 Jan 21 Comment Hello David,
I like this typical street of America we saw on television.
At first sight I saw you didn't take the pictures vertically. There is not much space on the top (the tower is cut). We make the "mistake" once after we don't forget it anymore.
I like the angle of view which allows to have lines.
sharp image and i like the tones.
The shadow in the lower right corner can be a little disturbing.
