I usually think and prefer a landscape in a more landscape/panoramic format. Even if here the white cloud in the center is important in the composition, it is , for me, not wide (large) enough. The light rays are beautiful and guide the eyes to the cloud.
Good contrast and I like the structure of the foreground (sharp and different grays).

Event if it was not foreseen, but the steam "makes" (brings a lot at) the image. It gives indeed an impression of dynamic and power.
This is a picture for the N&B.

I really like all the lines of this picture. I wonder if it was possible to have a square format (with enlarging the width and not reducing the high) with plenty of leaves (and lines...). It seems (to me) a little "empty" where there is no leave (end no lines).

Very nice and sweet image.
The design of the tree is great. I am attracted by the hole in the tree trunk, I have the impression it is an eye and it is on a vertical third ...
Concerning the ship, I have 2 opinions, namely:
- yes in the color image as we can see the different parts (sand, water, sky, ...) and the boat has its place.
- no in the B&W image has the separation is less obvious. In this case, the tree is the subject, and the boat is quite disturbing. This is (only) my opinion.

I really like the position of the birds, the position of the legs and the water dropping and the diagonal between these two.
The tails are sharpened well opened and "designed". The right time...
For the eye I realize this is more difficult to have it sharped. I think it is sharper in the color version.
With or without more space in before the Egret is your choice.
The treatment of the background is really well done.
Not easy at all to have the birds in this position, good job.
