Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
39 Aug 19 Comment I like this kind of image, especially in B&W, which is the a subject for B&W.
I didn't immediately see the dog, event it is an essential element of the picture.
I like the contract between the Old (pebbles Walls) and the New (Panels Candy Bar - Market).
More contrast on the Walls? It is your choice.

39 Aug 19 Reply Hello Paul.
Not a problem, not at all.
My first comment was "1/3500" and a movement effect…
After I thought more and these settings are not possible together and at 1/3500 you have a fixed effect.
Thanks

39 Aug 19 Comment I like the composition, very original. The sharpness is at the good place.
However on my screen I see "disturbing" elements below left and right above. Maybe just a question of density of the black.

39 Aug 19 Comment Very good shot.
1/3500 and a movement effect. Well done.
Agree with other comments.

Just a techincal question: are you sure of all the mentioned values: ISO100 1/3500 F8?
There was a lot of available light.

39 Aug 19 Comment New style Jerry, but very interresting.
However, I am disturbed by 2 things:
- the crop is too important (not enough space around the subjet/lady)
- there is some blurring on the left (between 2 zone of sharpness).
Otherwise, this is a new style where the personal creativity can be infinite.

39 Aug 19 Comment Very good idea to try anything new. Is is a good way to discover other images.
The fram is excellent, even "almost" perfect. The perfection would have been with a smaller boy on the right te see his head (between the camels legs). It didn't depend on you….
As Paul proposed it, it is now better to remove this person.

39 Aug 19 Comment Not easy these pictures and not my speciality…
I prefer it color. Distinction of the different parts is easier.
Even if the "mottled bright area on the left balanced the image very well" (see comment of Paul), i would have try a more "squarre" format to complete the triangle shape made by the tail and the stem.
Good job with this image.

39 Aug 19 Comment Thanks to all for your comments.
Here are some more words:
1. I agree with the need of the stroke around the picture.
2. The second girl on the left can disturb (other direction of the sight than the other girls) or that can attract attention.
3. I always try to be (to have my camera) at the same level as the eyes of the dancers. That unfortunately limits the possibility of reflection. I agree that in this case more reflection would have been better.

39 Aug 19 Reply Hello Paul.
Please don't be sorry, it is just the aim of the group analysis.
I always read the opinions with attention as it is a good way to learn how other people see our picture. The "negative" opinion is also a good way to improve ourselves.
So thank you for that.
