Beautiful transformation in B&W. I don't think this result would have been possible in color.
As mentioned in the other comments, some modifications are possible. Initially I also thought to a more square format, but it would be another image... so the decision is yours.
However, I would also take away the leave in the bottom of the image. |

Jerry,
The structure is the white brings a lot. It is better than a "pure B&W". This is a candidate for an award. |

Very sweet picture. The look is natural.
The upper right corner is a little bit disturbing, no?
Is it possible to try to age the picture? I think it can bring something.
However the award is justified.

Dear all,
Thanks a lot for your comments.
I also showed this image at my photo club, and they found it too much "pure B&W". I accept this opinion and I change a little the treatment to have structure in the white and the black. You can see the new proposal.
They found it better.... I told them that I didn't agree with them... Personally, I prefer the first version. Every meaning is possible.... |

I have (personal) doubt about the square format. There is not enough symetry for it. The frame is (always personnal) not wide enough.
However I like the 2 diagonals made, for the first, by the tide, and for the second by the buildings and the "material" on the front plane. |

I like this kind of image.
It is not "only" black and white. There is still structure and details in the sky and on the ground.
Sweet and relaxing image. |

Arfan, your are synonymous of light and shadow....
The white is "well white", well done. The difference of attitude of the 2 men gives a natural expression which is positive.
The background of the camels completes the story.
