Without any doubt for the B&W.
Difficult (for me) to give a opinion for such image, so it is a good exercice.... What is important is to have sharped threads. It is so in most of the part of the image. I don't know if it is possible (even if it is necessary) to improve that in the center with the high density.
An original picture. |

First thing I saw is, as mentioned, "the clouds above the steeple", and I like it.
Indeed a blue sky does not suit for such image, and the chosen tint is a good choice.
Happy to seen you again. All the best for you. |

The difficulty (of the luck of the good job) is to take the picture without any people. You have done it, so good job.
For the treatment I would have removed the object behind the columns and a little bit more contrast and darker. |

At first sight, I have the impression of lanslides with "scratches on the sand walls", or a "spindle" drawing.
Very beautiful and sweet image and with the other imgages a very beautiful serie.

Usually in such image the "drop" takes more place. Here it is "small" and makes it originally.
As already mentioned, without the bright area on left and the drop less close to the edge would improve attention to the drop.
