39 Oct 18 Comment We can recognize your style Lois (Positive opinion Lois).
Difficult to give an opinion about the tone.
I am attracted by 2 elements: first, the sharpness of the structure of the 2 columns compared with the rest of the image (stones, ... as these stone are old they can not be still sharpened), and secondly by the "center of gravity" of the Jew star in the center of the image.
Really a good composition.

I relly lik the B&W, the contrast ans (again...) the clouds. Really good picture. Howevr, I do not like the vignetting on the 2 upper corners. If is it not vignetting (we can hesitate on the right), it disturb the sight.
The clouds in the upper center has a triangular shape and guide the look to the center of the picture. Futhermore, they fill the upper space of the sky.
I also find a "contrast" between the calm of the bottom of the picture and the "power" of the clouds on the top. I like that.

39 Oct 18 Comment As David wrote, "great subject for B&W", especially with the clouds.
I really like the sharpness and the contrast (and the clouds).
I like the subject, and if the rain sometines brings a value at the picture, here, as it is too much located (on the center), it does not reflect the reality correctly, and specially on the oar.
I find the bark a little too much in the center. A little crop of the right?

39 Oct 18 Comment Good image and good analysis from the members.
I think the machine on the right is necessary for the eguilibrum with the birds on the left.
The tone is the one ofthe straw and of the corn. It is good, it is in the agricultural atmosphere.
Good one.

39 Oct 18 Comment Hi Arfan.
Good format for such picture.
With a little more of the camels and some more contrast? May be for the camels and yes for the contrast.
Even if the shadow and the camels are the main subjet, it would be interresting to see more the structure of the ground.

39 Oct 18 Comment Hello David,
I like the tones and the composition 1/3 - 2/3 which allows to see the reflection in the water of the trees we do not see. It is more original than a "classical" reflection with a compositon of 50 - 50.
Good idea and good job.
