38 Feb 19 Reply Thanks for the ideas about eliminating the poeple. And I agree that they are beautiful columns and curves. Since I am now living close to that buildingI may go back to photograph again ... different light, angles, etc. Feb 13th
38 Feb 19 Reply The building WAS beautiful. You can get the book at Amazon, or on this website for a signed copy: www.billstokesauthor.com.

Thanks

38 Feb 19 Comment Wow! The exposure is a little bit too hot, so darkening it with contrast added more dimension. The sparkling waves on the left are perfect. Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Comment Nicely done! all I can add is a suggestion to darken the corners a little to draw more attention to the "cocktail". Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Comment Very interesting! I actually like the 3 hoops in the colored version better than just one. You might also try having only one, the first one, in color and the rest in black. Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Comment What can I say, but "great Job". The comments from Art are good. I love the composition. Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Comment Yes, the dryer colors in sky and water DO make it pop more. Beautiful! Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Comment Very well done. I prefer your original for direction of the sitting cat, but yes the darker background makes the cat stand out more. Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Reply Art, you are absolutely right about all the points. I DO like your version better. Feb 12th
38 Feb 19 Reply Thanks,I agree with you about the blurring.

Bill Stokes, my fiancé, just published a novel about German POW's here in America. We were at the state historical center looking for pictures and articles to use for promotions.

I am helping with promoting it (Margaret's War), and have less time for my own work. I may actually drop this group.
