I don't agree that flipping it horizontally is an improvement. I do feel that it could use some brightening up in the background to make the beautiful bird stand out more. I like the catch light in the eyes, and position of the bird in the frame, especially the beak sticking out beyond the head. |

I love the silhouette with just a little pink in the sky and the lake and sky being the same color. I my opinion you didn't need all that the texture - especially on the lower right side. Maybe you could have masked out some of that. |

In my opinion it might have been improved if you could have gotten either lower or higher, so that the branches of the tree and fog level were not at the same level. I feel that the sharpness of the tree and softness of the background is great contrast and it tells the story very well. |

What can I say that hasn't already been said? I feel that the picture is very well done. Because it is my style, I would have reversed the direction that the bird is flying. Your close cropping in my opinion is just right. |

There is so much about this image that I feel is really great. The lines of the road, the ball traveling in the same direction, the way all 3 men are looking. In my opinion all the men are concentrating on the implied leading line and the look of effort on the face of the "thrower" tells the story very well. The number of the men is echoed again in the number of balls at their feet, and the space for the ball to travel is in my opinion a very good composition. |

Thank you Art. I obviously have to learn to crop in more than I sometimes do. And I like your comment about darkening the bright areas. |

Thanks. I didn't feel that I could move the bike, but I agree with you that more of it would be better. I DID use a filter or texture. I do that in most of my work. |
