Thanks Carol, I do like your crop. On reflection, the original aspect ratio is a little too tall.

A happy photo and caught at a good moment. As already noted, high key is often best photographed with high key settings, rather than processed..
I started with Connie's version and added a color lookup layer -- bleach bypass -- at 25% opacity. I then added some color by overlaying a pink sky texture, since I felt it might be an improvement. What do you think? |

Getting out into the fog can produce some great images, especially where the foreground is sharp and the background fades away. Although this image has a full tonal range, it still feels blah to me. Perhaps it's because all the photographic interest is in the mid-ground, but the tonal interest is in the sky?
Also, if it were my image I would clean up / clone away the contrail.
Another thought is a really tight crop like this... |

This is well done . I especially like the cloning, the softness and the color range. IMHO, the texture on the table left is a problem -- it covers the table edge /background in such a way that to me the basket floats. |

Nicely done with this lovely model and the pose you've catured. The added background is definitely a plus.
To improve, I think you could make those balls disappear (they draw my eye) and lighten up the very bottom of the dress so it's clear that her feet aren't cropped away. |

Michael, you've definitely made the image way more interesting with your processing, which to my eye looks good.
For me, the story is plain vanilla -- here's what was there. I would like to see more in a "fine art" photograph. |

You've done a good job here. The orange grasses work well against the blue sky and the lighting is calming. In my opinion, adding more birds is a plus, but in this case using the SAME birds screams composite. So I think perhaps changing the added birds, or adding them individually in a different order and ideally with a bit of puppet warp, would be a big improvement. |
