What a Fabulous scene, with the clouds, th god rays, the lone trees and the wide expanse of hills. You've done really well capturing it all. This version starts with your original, but has a different crop, since the foreground IMHO didn't have enough interest. It was created with an added shadow and highlight layer, then a bit of Nik HDR, and a warming photo-filter. |

This is a great idea, and well done. I'm sure your wife loved it. I especially like the added balloon tinsel, so it looks like a heart-shaped balloon.
I wondered how it would look with some more pop...This version added a second stroke and used Topaz Restyle to change the colors to more reds. |

Hog Heavens is indeed a fun photo. I like what you've done with it, adding some topaz touches to put attention on the hog.
To improve, I would try to further de-emphasize the background and foreground. In particular, the in-focus, sharp, straw at the bottom pulls my eye away from the hog. Maybe darkening it a tad or treating it with a softening filter of some sort. I think that would keep the interest on the hog. Here's an example.

What a creative idea to make this lovely photo with its cool bokeh into a reflection. You wrote that you used a pebble filter, and though the result is interesting and for me adds some "confusion" about what's going on (which I DO like), I wondered if PS's "ocean wave" filter might also work to make it look more watery. Because the bottom half is more broken up, it might also make it look more like a reflection. Here's the result. What do you think?
