I recently bought her a herding ball, which is a 14" hard plastic ball, and we love taking her to an open field to watch her move it around. She barks the whole time and her "herding" bark is different from her normal bark. It is really interesting how behavior like that is passed down through the generations of a species. |

Thanks. I now have a lighting setup that will allow me to up the shutter speed and reduce noise. The main problem is the large number of treats I have to give her to get one good shot. |

She is a cattle dog and we don't have any cows. My wife and I are the substitutes to satisfy her herding instincts. |

This is quite a calming image and I guess most of feel that going out to shoot a beautiful, peaceful scene provides a needed elixir for the times we live in. This is really a fantastic composition and I love the silhouette nature of the fisherman. My only suggestion would be to use a tripod and take three images of -2ev, 0ev, and +2ev. Then merge them in Photo->Photo Merge->HDR in Lightroom. This would give you more dynamic range in the sky where the light from the sun is competing with the rest of the structure in the sky. You could use the Sky mask in Lightroom if you wanted to play around with the sky independent of the rest of the scene. |

Perhaps photography is our individual way of expressing how we view nature and the elements. This is a well balanced composition that focuses on the beautiful wave action. I love the parallel relationship of the far away shore line and the rocks that jut out about a third of the way down. |

This is a great still life which I am sure took you awhile to play around with the arrangement. A life time of memories in a single image. Good job. The only suggestion that I would make relates to the perspective; the top left corner of the wood is lower than the top right corner. That is an easy fix in Photoshop if you have it. I read the image in, used the transformation tool to pull the top left corner up and to the left and made a slight adjustment to the bottom right corner. It doesn't make any change to the content and emotion of your image but removes something that a viewer's eye might be drawn to. |

Although there appear to be multiple pigs inhabiting the same display window, the individual cellophane wrapping defines the sense of "alone" for each pig. This is a very thought provoking composition and the monochrome treatment adds to the sense of loneliness. |

The day it doesn't we are all in trouble. Nice vertical balance in the composition and I love the way the boat had double duty as a compositional element as well as letting the viewer know where this was taken. |
