13 Sep 22 Comment It is a very dark swamp with very little light making it through the trees. I didn't try to brighten it up because I thought the gloomy atmosphere was part of the whole experience. The reason they selected a swamp to start the Louisiana Purchase survey is a bit of a fluke - it is where the vertical and horizontal lines intersected. Sep 12th

13 Sep 22 Comment That is really an amazing photo and quite beautiful. I think it is interesting that between two veins there is secondary vein structure that appears to go in the opposite direction. Great composition from your cropping. Sep 10th
13 Sep 22 Comment I like the feeling that the leading lines give that you are walking up a hill and have a long way to go. The person on the walkway adds a nice additional detail. Sep 10th

13 Sep 22 Comment Looks like a leading line to me. The snow edge leads your eye right down the street to the right so you can see all the traffic coming. Looks awfully cold. Sep 10th
