13 Sep 21 Comment That is one of those landscape images where you say to yourself, "wow, I wish I was there". I don't know if it is due to the long COVID-19 lock down or what. But that image really makes me melancholy and makes me want to travel again. Sep 27th

13 Sep 21 Comment Actually I didn't start with the idea of using that kind of filter. This time of year is the absolute worst time for landscape photography where I live. No color, hot, blown out skies. I headed to the mountains to search for some good stream shots but because it was a holiday the woods were full of people and since we are in the middle of a drought, it probably didn't matter. Returning from the forest I saw the scene that I shot and submitted. But for all the reasons above, it wasn't a great photograph although I thought it was a decent composition. Thus application of some artistic filters to try and have something to submit. Sep 6th
