I was drawn first to the reflection in the water and then to the city skyline and finally to the lights in the background. The clouds not being as sharp as the rest of the picture is a slight distraction but as Albert said they are better than a completely back sky. I'm sure this would go good in someone's home as an enlarged picture. |

Your edited version is much improved over the original. You did a great job cloning in the rocks but I agree that the one you labeled 4 should be deleted. It tends to draw your attention out of the picture and away from the tree and flowers. I would tone down the highlighted grass |

Personally I go for the original picture and really love the bright foliage. The gray does not bother me. I find the more Panoramic crop that Beverly did very interesting and appealing.

I agree that cropping out the sky was the thing to do as well as taking out the branch in the lower right corner of the picture. It really helps to bring one's focus on the reflection on the water. Jose has a great idea for going back in the fall and seeing if you can pick up some fall colors. I would love to see that picture. |

I like being creative like this. However, I find that one I post creative pictures like this most of my followers like the original or something more subtle. I find the strokes on this picture a little heavy for me as they override any pattern in the original picture. I do agree that it would make for a great large size wall picture. |
