Good thing you described the location otherwise I would not have figured it out. It is a great abstract and I would love having it in my house and watching guest trying to figure it out. Nice job. |

The green on the tree reminds me of moss. I like the idea of getting close and shooting upward. Have you tried shooting from the other side of the mound it is on or you might try it in the autumn, maybe even the early spring before the trees in the back ground have fully leafed out. Instead of the whole tree you might chose one section such as the highest part in the upper right and make an abstract of your own out of it. Have fun when you go back to photograph it again. |

I love the composition and the meandering of the stream that brings your eye into the picture. You did a great jog of bring out the colors throughout the picture. Personally I can't help but wonder how warm that water is. The stems at the bottom don't really bother me but if you remove them I would clone them out and not crop. The one tree trunk does look somewhat out of place. I agree you might try rotating the picture slightly to see if that makes it more palatable |

On viewing this picture my attention was immediately drawn to the animal and it appeared over sharpened to me. The same for the grass and the slight shadow around the top of the mountains. I wish the sky was a little brighter. I would agree with Belinda about cropping some of the sky. I do like the composition and the position of the animal immediately draws one's eye into the picture. |
