I just feel that this picture needs something to make a clearer delineation between the sky and the water. I like Bob's attempt that does this as well as bringing out the clouds more. It is definitely a stand out from many other photos I have seen of scenes like this. What I like is the painterly effect and wonder if this could be enhanced. |

I love the pattern. As others have said looking at it makes you wonder about the story behind each window. The sharpness of the picture is great and really adds to the impact of the picture. |

I like the color photo the most especially with Bob's addition to the light. The red surrounding the light helps to draw attention to the light. I think it might help the black and white picture if there was a touch of fill light below the light and off to the detail on the left side. A very nice composition. |

I love the composition of this picture. I like the fog fading out the top of the building and then the arc of the other building reaching out to help contain the rest of the picture to the right hand corner. Personally I don't see the need for more contract to bring the building's details out more because I like the softness that the fog gives it. |

You did a good job of converting a snapshot into something that stands on it's own. I think it is great that you followed up and did more research on Dwight. Too often we just take pictures and have our own story about it but never really get to what was behind the picture. |

I love the color treatment and it's balance. I don't see a need to crop anything. I thought about cropping out the dark mountain on the left but decided that it played to much of a role in keeping one's eye on the picture. As others have said the detail is fantastic and you must have put in a lot of work on this picture. It would make a nice contrast to the tropical theme in the living room of my Florida home. |
