I like the vertical more than the landscape. |

The lighting on the center column is fabulous. Agree with trying to shoot from in front of the trees. I would love to see the water smoothed even more, say with a 0.5 to 1.0 second shot. Nice work. |

Agree with others AND that the capture of the pattern of the sand is phenomenal. The vignette is definitely disturbing and would pull it back. Would also not use a complicated frame. |

I've never been to PP either and it looks different than I expected. I agree with others that the lighting conditions and absence of clouds prevent this image from being even more interesting. I would crop, as Trinda says, some of the snow at the bottom--at that point you're getting close to a panorama. Then, since there are three layers of the hills, with the bottom two being dark and the treeless mountains being lighter, I might try to create visual interest by darkening the middle triangle of trees and darkening the sky slightly. OR try a black and white version. |

Lovely image and I like Maria's processing. For me, the lighthouse is not in a "sweet spot" and is too small to be adding much to a terrific landscape. If it were mine, I might clone out the lighthouse but I understand how you and others might not like that change. |

Agree with most other comments. While compositionally all the rules seem to be met. Yet, if the yucca is the story then I think it would be a stronger image by cropping from the right such that you almost end up with a square. |
