I like the composition and agree with your thought on the backgrounds color. My only suggestion is to see if you have enough good information in the file to lighten the front raven's face (and eye) a little to enhance interest. |

Waterfalls and run of are challenging compositionally. Often, such as in your picture, I think there are really two shots: the falls and the run off. I might see if you can focus on just the top 40 percent of the image. |

Aside from the vertical log the others don't bother me so much. I agree with Nancie about lightening the lighthouse which would also move the eye away from the logs. |

Thanks Mike. I may reduce the purple a tad at your suggestion. I think the bronze quality of the light created some less common colors in the clouds (to your comment : I've seen purple clouds). |

Nancie--Thank you. This image, similar to most of my landscapes are focus stacked (multiple focus points from foregrounds to background) and aggregated in software. |
