Thanks for posting a comment Trinda. I tried your crop and it accomplishes your goal: emphasizing Everest. I think both crops are effective. I am more inclined to show a broader landscape which reveals more of the Tibetan plateau. |

Thanks Mike, I appreciate your positive feedback. A major goal of mine with landscape images IS to present it in a new way. It's a challenge. |

Totally agree with John. Terrific colors but find the line distracting. |

Fun shot. The story is in the horses on the grasses. I'd crop some of the rock away and then darken what's left. |

Lovely image and agree with John and Mike. An alternate take on this image is that there are two stories: the lower and upper halves. Since I like landscape approaching abstract, I'd try cutting the image at the far water line and then look at only the top half. The horizontal layers are powerful. |

Very nice color palette. I'd correct the horizon as John mentions. Since this image is so serene (Mike) I might have some fun and apply a blur to the water to "relax" it. |

Thank you Mike and John. We were fortunate that Everest and other peaks were not covered by clouds the night we were there. |
