Nice job of removing the background stems and make the emphasis on the flower. The technique on the flower works well to create an impressionist view of the Orchid. |

Nice work! The sky has more punch and interest and the foreground now has detail and texture. I find the edge of the thick (evergreen?) tree on the left side a bit distracting though and would consider cropping a little off the left. |

Fun subject. I agree with getting rid of the ceiling. Maybe you could try eliminating the background and using a texture or dark color behind the subject |

The texture was a overlay created with Topaz Texture Effects. I don't remember if was set to "mutilple" on "soft light". |
