nice concept , we need to rearrange the products so that they appear as if they are lying on a table in a barn or closet or store to convey the idea which is defeated. Lightning is too flat there are no highlights and shadows, if u see barns or closet photographed or filmed there is always more of shadows and less of lights to create drama and interest. Interestingly focus is only on the lamp and eye of duck, screwdriver pulley rope all are soft, I feel its also the way camera is positioned or held in hand.
But there is always a next time and we can redo it to create the magic and the story you wanted to portray.

Alison nice attempt but composition needs to be revisited, as Andrew has told there are lot of hindrances before the eye travels to hero of the image "JACK",plus we are not clear on exposure front also and I also feel the sharpness / focus is missing. this happens with all of us at times , i feel recomposing it would be a better idea rather then retouching it too much

very nice street photography scene a winner but a little space on both the sides would have been better...or we say it is required |

nice frame but as a photographer i feel this must have been two individual portraits of the two. The short crop is having lot of distractions for the eyes. The two many cut ends in the background. The burning of the lighted up background would have helped more. But again i feel two individual portraits would have been better. |
