I'm glad you had better luck in Acadia than we did. It was drenching rain and extremely thick fog the entire time we were there. And there were still so many people that it took almost an hour just to get the pass for our windshield.
That aside - the sky replacement doesn't work for me because it's bleeding into the lighthouse. If the sky were naturally those bright colors, they might reflect on the building, but not in the way they show up now.
Try the LR preset for Storm Clouds (one of the Adaptive Sky presets) on the original and maybe add a warmer tint to the original sky. Then I would crop just above the big rock in the middle bottom and in from the left to leave enough water to show the sea and cut out some of the dead space.
Nice video. I left a comment. |

This is a great blue hour citysacpe, Nigel. I don't have any suggestions to make it stronger. |

I love the texture and color of the wood. If you do any compositing, this would make a great frame for a lot of different subjects!
You could probably get the moon sharp using a mask. If all else fails, you could use AI Sharpen (or the current AI Photo) from Topaz.
This photograph brings a smile to my face and makes me want to come photograph your barn! |

Good job on framing the tree the way you wanted it. I like that the light on the trees in the background subtly draws attention to the tree, particularly because there is so much contrast between it and the shadow of the tree.
There is no recoverinng the highlight in the clouds above the tree. You might consider cropping down to just below that to remove that spot and cropping in from the right to the edge of the tree's shadow. Then you would just need to remove a few branches in the upper right and a shadow of a branch intruding from the mid right to really isolate the tree and move it slightly more toward the right. |

Very, very well done. I particularly like the placement of the sun and how it highlights the shawl. I have no suggestions on how to make it stronger. |

I like the framing and the leading lines in this photograph. The subject is clear even though there is a lot going on in the scene. The colors also look natural.
If it were my image, I would try masking the car to reduce the highlights and increase the exposure so that it would stand out more. I might also increase the exposure on the other cab to bring it out as a secondary subject.
If you are not entering this into a PSA travel image competition I would remove the very bright glint at the back of the bicycle cab and the blue tubular thing at the top of the frame. I'd also look at removing the grate in the street since it's right on the edge of the frame.
All that's really picky stuff because this is a great photograph. |
