I would love to have more foreground but the rest of the foreground was a 4-lane highway with a wide divider. |

I agree. If he were completely sharp, the story would change. |

Well done! I don't see many photographs of the Grand Canyon with snow. As the others have said, everything is sharp and merged nicely. I particularly like the play of light and shadows. |

I like the foreground, the details in the mid-ground, and the halo from the sun. It is a nice image.
Like Tom and Michele, the brightness of the sun distracts me from the detail that is closer to the viewer.
The sun has been mostly cropped out in my visual feedback, turning the image into more of a panorama look. I also added clarity to the halo to make it more prominent and ran it through a new program I've been trying out - Radiant Photo. |

Good job! I think this is an eye-catching and interesting photograph. I agree about keeping in the people on the right.
Edoardo is a little fuzzy along the edges, making it look like he's already being pulled into the other dimension. It would be interesting to see how it would look if he were completely sharp. |

Thank you, Tom. We were on the road for five months and just returned in February. |

I hope this did well in the local competition because I love it! Composing the image with just the reflection and excluding the sides of the building necessitates spending a few moments really looking at the image to determine what is going on in it.(Always a win if the viewer has to spend more time in the frame.)
The breaks between frames gives the central reflection some distortion that is interesting and the reflection of the trees on one side are mirrored on the other side. The deep blue background makes the more pastel colors of the older buildings in the reflection really pop.
I don't have any suggestions on how you might make it stronger.
