Thank you, Paul. Improving images is what this group is all about, isn't it? |

Nice timelapse. It now has a "like" and I would have left a comment full of questions, but...
I'll just agree with Mike on the colors and composition. I'd like to add that there is an implied line from the very dark trees to the pier that separates the "natural" from the very urban. For me, the car on the pier shows the scale of the scene better than anything else in it. If I were to suggest any changes it would be to clone out some of the more distant swimmers.
Good job on the image and the video. |

I think I would like this image even without the reflection. I'll agree with everything John said and add that there is a faint zig-zag (road or trail, maybe?) leading deeper into the frame, toward where my imagination says the source of the reflection may be found.
Nice image! |

I love the colors and the composition. I also think that flipping it was a good choice. Overall, this is, to me, a very serene and eye-catching image.
I'm of two minds on the cropping issue. The big tree in front is beautiful and the shape is nice. On the other hand, the sky is dull and the reeds at the very bottom are somewhat unattractive. |

Based on your comments, I went back to the original and started again. Part of the redo was moving the whole image to the right, which also dropped off the unidentifiable ship. |
