71 Mar 21 Comment To me, this is an image that you could just sit and stare at for a while. The simple shapes and textures and the blue of the ocean are all calming while the sunset colors are exciting and kind of leap out at you. I don't know that it would work without the little bit of blur along the horizon. Mar 9th
71 Mar 21 Comment I agree with you and Mike about the expanse and the leading line. It would be easy to think that this is a composite of mountains and desert because of the contrast between the two landscapes, but I know it isn't. My only suggestion is to slightly darken the two lighter lines running off the road to the left. Mar 9th

71 Mar 21 Comment Actually, the labels are backwards. The above image was the SOC and the little image is the processed one. Mar 2nd
71 Mar 21 Comment I wouldn't have know it was a composite if you hadn't said it, so good job there! I like the curves and the feeling of distance they lend the image. I also think the colors add to the feeling of solitude and tough conditions.

Two things nag at me - the angle of the horizon and the bottom post that draws me out of the image.		 Mar 1st
