I'm jealous of that wave - I haven't caught any quite that big there yet. Neither have I gotten clouds like that. Lucky you!
That hillside is really, really dark in all my images from there. To me it seems you went just a tad too far in bringing out the details on the hill, but that may just be because of my familiarity with it. Otherwise, this is a great image. |

Stacking was definitely the way to go on this one. I love the reflection and think this is a great image. So glad you got to photograph it too! |

The tail was barely visible to the naked eye and it was a little faint even through binoculars when this shot was taken. |

For me, this image definitely has a foreground, mid-ground, and background, giving it a sense of distance and depth. Also, my eyes follow the line of the flowers to the road and on into the mountains with the teensy little car showing the scale of the massive distance within the view. It seems to me too that the color of the flowers in the foreground are reflected in the background mountains so that the colors balance harmoniously. Great job! |

Wow! What an unusual occurrence to get to photograph! It looks like it was snowing fairly hard. I think the foreground does a good job of showing the terrain and grounding the mountains. Cropping out part of the sky was,in my opinion, a good call too. |

I think this image is really well-named. To me it is all about the motion of the waves hitting the rocks in the moonlight and I see that in the one big wave and the swirl of water around the rocks. If I were going to change anything, it would be to include a little more of the foreground.
Again - welcome! and thank you for taking this on. |
