Nice capture! Is the magenta on the pilings a reflection from the bio-luminescence or something else? |

I see a "Z" in the tide line, the rocks leading toward the sky, and the clouds leading back to the left of the frame - very cool! It's a gorgeous image.
I agree that the color in the sky is a bit intense, but it makes the image really pop. |

I'll go back and look at the original again. I think I may have darkened the shadow side a bit to play off the dynamic between the passing storm and the sunset.
Thanks for the comment. |

What a lovely blue hour cityscape - well done! The lines are all straight, the focus is crisp, and the shades of blue and orange look very nice to me. |

Without your explanation, I'd've thought this was an ICM image. Regardless, I think this is lovely, dynamic, and moody. The blurring of the distant shore makes it appear to me that everything in the image is moving. The contrasting colors add to the drama of the image for me. |

You could use a gradient to add a little warm gold tone to the sky or try some split toning. If if were my image, I would take out the birds that look more like spots, crop about half the sky and about a third of the water. If your Photoshop skills are good enough I'd crop between the boat and the gull on the far right to bring it in closer. (My skills are not to that level but I've seen it done.) The boat interests me and makes me want to try to figure out what the person in the back is doing. It's also a sharp image and the colors are nice. There's definitely potential here and it' easy to see why you took the photo. |
