Thanks for all the nice comments. My Creating Competitive Images instructor remarked that the image would be much stronger with something floating in the water to focus on. |

Gorgeous shot. I agree that the yellows need to be tamed a bit - I would start by lowering the luminance on them maybe -10 or -15. |

My first thought was "this looks like a postcard or screensaver". Absolutely beautifully done. Nancie is right about the dust spot - other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. |

Interesting light and texture in a well-composed image. To me, it's more of a travel photo than a landscape because of the people. Having said that, leaving people in the image is more representative of what it's actually like, which I appreciate. I'd never know you removed some of the crowd - you handed that very well.
Overall, I wouldn't change anything. |

Great job of capturing the sun without blowing it out. The reflection of the sun in the water adds a nice touch too. I absolutely love the way you composed this image and would not change a thing. |

Unfortunately, the sky dipped right in the middle of the panorama. Here's what it looked like about 10 minutes earlier. |

My overactive imagination sees a hand reaching for the tiny little wisp of a cloud over the butte. The contrasting colors make for a striking, yet simple, image. The only thing I might try would be to deepen the shadows in the butte to create a greater sense of depth. |
