I used an ASPC Sony 10-14 mm f4 lens on my full-frame A7RIII simply because that's the only lens I had. I've since purchased a used Rokinon 14 mm f2.8 lens that I love. |

Thanks, Nancie. Although it hasn't been that long since I shot this scene, I have continued to improve my post-processing and it shows in the edit. |

Your hands are obviously much steadier than mine, my friend. As the others have already commented, it's a lovely image. |

Another option would be to crop in a little on the left to remove the tiny bit of tree trunk at the bottom and crop in from the right to leave more of a vertical image clearly focused on the tree you'd prefer to cut out of the shot. The reflections in the water are also more prominent that way. Of course, you could also try removing that tree but it would be a slow and painstaking process, I think. |

I really like this image - the leading lines of the limbs, the textures and muted colors, and the story it tells. However, I wouldn't have known those were hawks without the title. If you want more attention on the hawks, you might try cropping the interesting foreground and maybe even a little of the sky to make them appear larger in the frame. As it is, this is a well-composed unique image. |

Isn't it great when passing cars do your light-painting? (And perfectly awful when they linger too long.) To me, the dark cloud on the left and the bright clouds on the right frame the main trees. However, cropping the left would leave the main trees balanced with the bright clouds so I think that would be okay too. Congratulations on another really nice night photo. |

This is a very dynamic image that grabs attention and keeps it. Like Nancie, I wasn't sure what it was - my first thought was ICM and my second was infrared. It was only by reading your description that I understood. Thank you for a wonderfully thought-provoking and inspiring image. |

It's a lovely image as is and I don't have any suggestions for it. |

Thanks for the suggestions! Very little editing had been done so I applied what I've learned about post processing over the last couple of months and cropped it. Cropping has the added bonus of making the horses more visible. |

Thank you, Mike. When shooting for a night sky panorama I overlap the images by about 50% instead of the usual 30% just to make sure there is plenty of information for the program to use in stitching. |
