I think you lovely job of framing the barn below the mountain so that the two peaks align. I also like that the golden tones on the barn contrast nicely with the blues on the mountain. To me, the open barn door signifies possibilities and adds to the overall image. Lovely image - I don't see anything I'd change. (Power lines often seem to be the bane of my existence - right after clouds, of course.) |

I think the golden glow on the reeds that is reflected in the water does a lovely job of isolating the pelicans grouped in the middle forefront and that you did a very good job of separating the pelicans from the reflections. Even without the sharp focus you wanted, the image tells me a clear story of the birds huddling together and it's something you don't see or even hear about often. Nice job! (BTW, my telephoto isn't as sharp as I'd like either.) |

I think it's funny that our images this month were taken just a few miles apart. That aside, I like the perspective and composition and the colors look natural for that area. It seems to me that the still water clear beach form lines to the largest sea stack, then I notice the saves adding movement in the background and my eye wanders over to the teeny little arch toward the right in the background. Nice job! |

First, I'm really jealous. Second, you did a great job of putting the image together. Compositing is something that I need to learn how to do. Beautiful! |

The mountains really help me see the scale and power of the clouds. I also like that the top clouds are nearly as dark as the mountains because it gives the clouds a sort of ominous feel. What a powerful, dynamic image! |
