I do like it. What you cleared up was smoke from a recently departed boat that I had just left in. |

The layers of color are quite striking and the contrast between the grasses and sky grabs the viewers attention. The remaining leaves on the tree on the left and the texture of the grasses somewhat emulate the feel of the flock, adding to the interest too. The blurry branches on the left are a trifle distracting. A very interesting image! |

The lighter colored rock on the bottom left and the textures and colors of the landforms in the foreground really pop out. The inherent shapes create a zigzag pattern that leads the eye through the photo and that is strengthened by the trails (roads?) and rock layers.
All in all, I really like the image and the editing but somehow the sky seems a bit off. The color maybe? It is quite pretty though. |

The layers and vibrancy of the colors are really pleasing to the eye (I love color!) and invoke a sense of cold, crisp air. The composition is also wonderfully balanced between the rocks and tree on the right and the large tree in the mid-ground and the mountains on the left. Well done! |

Ended up cropping the sides and the sky a bit as well to balance it out and I think you're right - this makes the photo a bit stronger. |

I'll just agree with Mike and add that the textures are also interesting. Good job!
