I started with LR simply because it seemed (and still seems!) a little easier to use and more intuitive. Lately though I've been getting a little frustrated with not knowing how to easily get rid of distractions in PS that are next to impossible to do in LR and a few other functions. I've never even opened Camera Raw, so I guess I should add that to the list! |

I like it! Learning Photoshop is next on my "to-do" list.

The Hanging Highway has a really interesting history. (I had never heard of it either before stopping at the rest stop.) The lanes going in one direction are at a different elevation than those going the other way and was specifically designed to do as little damage as possible to the local ecology. |

It's a lovely soft photo with lots of contrast. Have you tried adding a little (a little, not a lot) more color back into the tall grasses and canoe? (Not sure it would be an improvement, but it's worth looking at.) |

Nice job of getting the shot in a moving plane. Just doing that used to be considered amazing, but drone photos and footage have jaded viewers somewhat - Mike's right about looking for that little something extra. |

This photo definitely draws the eye into the view to wander around. It's amazing how sharp it is for being handheld. |

The best photo of what the hanging highway actually looks like is one taken from inside the van as it was driving down the highway. |

I like the water color effect and wish that it had rendered the entire photo to look like a water color painting. Having some details (like the lanterns) appear to be in sharp focus throws me off a bit. One thing is certain, the variation in the effect makes the viewer linger if only to figure out what is going on. |

I agree that it does not have a strong focal point and wish I could have taken it at a different time of day. It does, at least, remind me of how amazing that canyon is. |
