71 Jan 18 Comment This is very much the kind of photo I took when we traveled through the western states last year on our road trip, except that I didn't do a very good job of including a foreground. All in all I think you did a pretty good job of dealing with difficult lighting. Jan 31st

71 Jan 18 Comment Did you notice the s-shaped pattern of snow behind the barn that points almost directly to the sun? The varying shades of the sun's corona are lovely and I don't think I've ever seen it captured quite this way. Nice job! Jan 11th
71 Jan 18 Comment The sort of gritty details in the wood give the photo an old-fashioned feel that perfectly suits the subject matter. The only thing that bothers me a little is that the reflections of the trees are so less saturated than the trees that are being reflected (if that makes sense). Overall, I really like this photo. 71 Jan 18 Comment I'm impressed by the amount of detail in the moon. Also agree with Virginia that a little less empty space would have been nice. Did you try cropping it a little on the right?
