10 Dec 25 Comment HI Peter
This is truly a beautiful building and makes me want to return to my home state of NJ!
The colors in the sky compliment the colors in the building really nicely. So here's what I noticed when I zoomed in to the image -- it's got noise and isn't sharp. You don't say at what length your lens was set when you took the picture, so if your shutter speed was too slow, you would have movement. I would try taking the image into Denoise and Sharpen and see if that improves it. Also I would crop a bit off the top. Can you clone out the dark spot in the sky at left in the sky? I know, picky, picky.

10 Dec 25 Comment HI Meredith, I think it's gorgeous ! What beautiful colors; you make me want to become a "morning person" to catch the early rays of light and color.
The only suggestion for me would be to clone out the right side and very lowest branch, for some reason it caught my eye. But just the same it's lovely ! I like the cropping, but also wondering what you cropped out.

10 Dec 25 Comment Hi, Bob, I love flowers and these are really pretty. That said, I'm not sure I understand why you wanted to put the roses on seafoam -- I would think a textured background that looks more like a garden would work quite nicely.
I notice around the edges of the flowers a blu-ish line, which really gives away that it's a composite. I would omit that (cloning maybe?). Also maybe add some shadowing beneath the flower or some other clue that makes it look like it's really floating on water. Composites are tricky, I've made many poor ones ! Good try, keep it up.

10 Dec 25 Comment Well, I love dahlias and this one is beautiful. I think the "derivative" isn't necessary, but I know that's something you enjoy doing.
You don't mention your F Stop. I would have given it more depth of field, as the pointed ends of some of the outer petals are "soft", but the colors are magnificent and I think it's really, really well done.

10 Dec 25 Comment Mark, I just love this image ! The colors are magnificent and I love the textures. You could take a little off the top but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Great exposure, you nailed it !! I really think this could be printed and framed and put in my living room ! Dec 11th
