Thank you, Diana.
I showed it today at a camera club meeting and they liked the re-done image, so I appreciate your comments !!
I just bought some yellow translucent ranunculus and am looking forward to photographing them ! |

Meredith, the colors are quite nice, especially in the foreground area where they are rich and compliment the colors beyond the trees. It's hard to tell that there's a lake there, but since it's a salt lake I guess that explains that! I've never seen a salt lake ! I might crop a bit off the top of the image so the horizon is not so much in the middle. I know that in my camera club they talk about the magic of an uneven number of objects -- so three trees would have been better than two, or maybe just one instead of two. There is a big space between the two trees so I think I would walk around and try to get a slightly different composition. But I do love the colors, the mood, the textures. Makes me want to go there ! |

Peter, this is so nice. Your exposure is perfect (white is so hard to photograph) and your F-stop choice put it all into focus. It's really lovely. I would love to visit Longwood some time !! |

This is quite lovely; do you know what kind of flower it is?
The background compliments the flower quite a lot. Nicely done, as always ! |

Really a lovely city. Thank you for this nice night-time shot.
I'd love to see you put your camera up on a tripod at night and do a long exposure and see what you get. |

I've often see people take pictures of others' artwork and couldn't see the value in that. But given that you really cropped in close and made a nice abstract, with lots of texture and vibrance, I would say this is a very nice abstract.
If you didn't tell someone what it was, they certainly wouldn't know it was from another artist. Definitely not anything like the "original". Nice ! |

Fascinating. I love the blue color of the iceberg chunk, and on the black sandy beach it really stands out. I think your fighting the freezing winds was worth it !
I wonder if you could saturate the reflection of the berg in the ebbing wave, that could make it even better. I would probably crop a bit off the bottom of the image.
Very nice ! |

Meredith, I redid the picture. Do you think this one is better?
I haven't got it totally nailed -- it's a lot of layers and lots of images in one pic. |
