10 May 24 Reply Thank you, and yes, I thought the color hue was off. I took this a long time ago and wanted ideas on how to "fix" it.

10 May 24 Reply Hi Peter, There are four zebras, are you referring to the one who turned his rear end in our direction? That's what they do in Africa, they turn around. That's why I felt lucky to get some who hadn't turned yet.
So you think that one is distracting?

10 May 24 Comment Very lovely scene. It seems a bit flat to me. I would increase contrast and maybe do something to make the clouds a little more dramatic -- sort of not what Meredith recommended, LOL.
I don't think you need that much sky, either, I would crop down from the top and maybe a bit on the left. And add vibrance and maybe a bit of saturation. Just post-editing things. 		May 13th
10 May 24 Comment I think it's really about the reflection here, is that what caught your eye the most? But the part of the image that is most noticeable is the embankment and the trunk of the tree, which are very light. I would add an adjustment layer and darken them, and then play around with some cropping, either off the top (preferred) or the bottom, or both. I remember a class I took where the teacher asked us "What do you want your viewer to notice most, and what attracted you to this scene?" so that's why I ask you what caught your eye. May 13th
10 May 24 Comment Very pretty, I like the submitted image better. I would lighten the dark area which is just a little above the center of the picture - use an adjustment layer to lighten just that part. I think that would be better and make the picture more uniform.

I was thinking it might be better with some cropped off the top - there isn't much added in the little panes up there. But other than that, as they say, "cool beans!". 		May 13th
10 May 24 Reply That's a wonderful suggestion! Thank you so much. I will do that and I think it will make a nice difference. I just didn't know how to make it a stronger image and it really helps me to get good ideas from people like you. Yay! May 12th
