Thank you, Diana. Yes I think my focus point isn't great here.
I do wish you would show me some images you've taken with your soft focus ii. I'd love to get some ideas. I'm not too creative. I think my strongest focal point here was the petals slightly behind the center of the flower. Bad choice.
I think I just don't like this flower too much !! LOL |

Nice image, I do like the silkiness of the water as it cascades down. I do like Peter's suggestion to flip the image, as we do look right to left. Interesting !!
Your exposure was a great choice as well as shutter speed, etc.
My eyes long for just a little more on the sides of the image, so I wonder what it would have looked like it you had taken a slightly wider shot. It just seems a bit tight.
But still,,, lovely. |

Lovely !!! I'm jealous. Wish a bird like that would sit by my window so I could capture it.
This is really pretty, your exposure is great, composition is great. I wouldn't change a thing. |

Interesting ! I have never used a fisheye lens, either.
I like it, the detail on the leaves is really interesting and I love the textures.
I do think I would either darken the bottom muddy area (or is that asphalt - hard to tell - or clone some other leaves onto it. It does distract. |

HI Mark,
Makes me think of the movie "The Birds" by Hitchcock.
I like the capture. I would darken the buildings a bit and maybe eliminate the bird on the left bottom. But very cool and almost a little spooky ! |

HI Peter,
Yes, a lovely image with many nice leading lines.
I do agree that the thing in the lower right would be better gone. You could use the Generative Fill edit in Photoshop and it would just take it out. And yes, if you could make the skies more dramatic that might work also to create more of a mood.
This really makes me want to go back to Paris ! |
