10 Oct 23 Comment A really interesting leaf, I've never seen this plant before. I'd like to see more of it. I think you wanted us to get the texture and color, and you did that.
I remember a former teacher told us: If you're going to crop, crop decisively -- something like that. So you cropped off a bit of the tip of the petal - that makes me wonder what the tip looks like. I think if you had left the tip there, that would have been great, or crop in more. Also there's a flaw on the right that kind of bothers me. I would crop that out.
It would also be nice to see the whole plant, or at least more of it. It looks really pretty. 		Oct 13th
10 Oct 23 Comment I think this is a really cool picture !! I love the little lifeguard station, and the fence to the right offsets it really well.
Oh, my, Meredith. I had to play with this image. I hope you're OK with it, because I love it but I thought the bright parts of the sky were distracting so I lowered them a bit and then brightened up the hut and added texture and contrast to the vegetation and fence. I cropped a bit top and bottom. You could create 20 iterations of this image, it's so fun. I love it.

10 Oct 23 Comment Oh, Diana, this is sooooo beautiful. It looks like light is coming through the petals from behind, yes from your window, what a great idea. But how did you get the background if there was a window behind? I can't figure that out.

10 Oct 23 Comment Funny, I had the same idea as Meredith, but I googled how to change the color of an object and made the trees a more orangey color. I think your image is nice but a little "flat", and it could use less sky (plain blue is kind of boring) and the trees on the left don't do much for the picture. I played around with it and got this. Just for fun. Thank you for sharing your image, I bet that was a lovely day ! Oct 13th
10 Oct 23 Comment Really interesting image !! So hard to tell what it is when you look at it, so glad you explained. I'd love to see a picture of you when you were standing under it and appearing on top of the building.
