I didn't mean the rocks. I meant the things that appear brownish in color. I don't know what they are. Rocks are normal but the other stuff -- ?? That's what I was referring to.

Wow, to get the truck in good focus at 1/40 sec., you really did a good job of panning ! I would crop off the left side to get rid of the traffic sign. |

Hi Diana, Very pretty image. I'd like to see it with a different colored background, maybe a texture? Even just the opened flower, crop from the bottom and leave out the buds. I don't think the buds add much to the image. I think Kathleen's color for the month is Purple, although I'm not sure she comments on the Alumni's images, does she? I haven't submitted any at all, my bad ! |

It's an interesting landscape, isn't it? I wish you would have taken this into Photoshop and "cleaned up" the beach. There are things on the beach that are distracting to me. Also maybe add a bit of contrast and saturation. I do like seeing the man who appears to be walking toward the water. He adds interest for me. |

Really a unique abstract ! Great Colors, Looks like a dress that Xena Warrior Princess might wear. Faces staring at me, also. Very cool ! |

Hi, Mark, I think it's lovely and fantastic.
When I look at it, I do get a bit distracted by the things on the balcony -- not the people, but the plants that are sticking up. I wonder if you could clone them out?
Other than that, it's beautiful. Reminds me of the Bellagio in Las Vegas. You really make me want to visit Longwood Gardens !
P.S. just to see how I reacted to it without the things on the balcony, I cloned them out. I like it better. Just a suggestion, of course. |

Hi, John,
I like Sarita's idea, that increasing saturation might have increased the drama of the image. I would crop off some of the bottom and top and make it more of a panorama, which might give people a better idea of the expanse of the area. I love the cloud formations, beautiful !!
Please do visit my Group 10 in Digital Dialogs if you like, we have a variety of different types of images and photographers.
