10 May 23 Reply It's definitely over processed, I was just playing around with it. I think if a photo is really out of focus there's a limit to what you can do with it. When I made it larger, it added digital noise also. May 20th
10 May 23 Comment Diana I played around a bit with it, just brightened it an added contrast and this is what happened. You could even just apply a layer mask and brighten up the main flower and leave the rest alone. Lots of possibilities for edits. May 20th
10 May 23 Reply So you actually have all the textures in LR? I would never have thought of that ! What a great idea. Thanks, I think I will do the same.
Not sure how to see how the image will look with the texture in LR, how do you do that?
I'm only familiar with the very basics of LR, don't know how to mask in there, etc.

10 May 23 Reply I just found out it's an Allen's Hummingbird, Male.
Of course the males are "prettier" because they are trying to attract a mate.
Thanks, Maria !

10 May 23 Comment It's really hard to see this image because it's so small. It doesn't appear to be in focus. But it certainly does make you think about the battles that were fought and how horrific they must have been. That picture is nine years old, will they have more re-enactments?
Well I took the liberty of putting your picture into Photoshop and made it larger. Then I took it into Topaz Sharpen AI and tried to put it more into focus. What do you think? It doesn't look that great just clicking on it here, it's too big. But when I did it in PS it looked pretty good.

10 May 23 Comment Really pretty. I love the reflections in the water, and the sky is definitely adding interest. I think I would crop a bit off the bottom and maybe even make it more of a panorama - you don't need all the water at the bottom. I love the cloud reflections in the windows. Nice !! May 17th
10 May 23 Comment Hi Diana, I think it's lovely. The only thing that I would like to see differently would be to have the picture be brighter. You could easily lighten it up in Photoshop. I like the positioning of the flower and the bud, and the background is really pretty too, goes along with the flower nicely. May 17th
10 May 23 Comment The waves are really pretty. I think the sun is blown out and if you had been able to use a polarizer or density filter it would have looked better. I would have pointed my camera further to the right so the sunset wasn't smack dab in the middle, and then you could have eliminated some of the distractions on the left side, the white box and the brown thing in the upper left corner. Too bad a boat wasn't there somewhere in the distance. May 17th
10 May 23 Comment Doug, I definitely think the texture works. It's lovely.
I love the one sharp line on left front, then the rest being softer.
How did you Modify the texture? That's something I struggle with -- finding the one that will really make the flower look good. I think your image is really well done.
